white looks good! I know Chris' mustang GT pulls it off well, but I don't think I could do it on an import. I'd be afraid of being "that import guy" aka ricer

I think its funny... but there are sooo many things that I see import drivers do that I think are real gay, but if it was on a clean mustang or camaro I wouldn't even think twice

I love american muscle!!

Honestly though, the 'shoulders' on the STI make the car so much cooler. Its like the C6 vs the Z06. I think C6 looks meh most of the time, nice cars but they don't do anything for me... but a z06, good lord thats a whole different ball game!!

Ah..but it's a Ford, I can't see how you'd want to get rid of that beautiful car!!

Then again, maybe after having one for a while something else might be nice too..I'd never be able to get rid of that car though if it were mine, no way!

If it where mine it wouldn't bother me to go out to the garage uncover it and just stare at it. Hell I still do that with my T-Bird! And I've had it for 19 years now.

alright, got a question for you guys..I found an 03 cobra ft bumper today and im gonna go check it out in the morning..needs a little bit of work and painted, but that's not bad. The tabs are supposidly broken, but im sure I could find another way to mount this somehow...

would it be ricer like to drive around with a different color(sonic blue) ft bumper for a little while until i get it painted??..

I was thinking this is ricer like. Just looking for opinions haha.

haha trust me guys, its going to be a hard decision to make. I'll cross that bridge when I get there though. I've got some time to let things play out.

Weather permitting, I'm going to test drive a land rover LR3 tomorrow evening and a new STI on wednesday though just to see whats up. Highly highly doubting the LR3 at this point though. Chicks love LRs though

you'll surprise a LOT of people with a GTP. Cars move out with some mods! Only thing I hate about them is that the speedo goes to something like 110 (clearly designating it as a slow car ;))

Get it painted before you put it on or you'll be lazy and drag your feet to get it painted. OR you'll wish you never put it on because it looks 150% worse than a perfectly good stock bumper.

Basically: paint that fuggin thing first

oh, and buy some mesh so that you can't see the huge opening that should be filled by a heat exchanger.. but preferably buy a turbo system with a nice big front mount (I think that should fill the bumper quite nicely?!?!?!?!?)

haha yeah, im on unemployment, let me go out and buy a nice turbo system for it

i'm gonna go check it out after work tomorrow, it needs some minor work he "says" and the brackets are effed up..im sure i could figure something out, but I HATE my front bumper..always did like the Cobra ones :) we shall see!
