havent got it done yet, still need to shorten the chain to 114 links then change the oil and its ready to go, from what i read and the people i talked to at the tracks, say its the best overall combo on these bikes

I ****in' hate Honda's... and i don't mean 4 cylinder ricers... i mean 1 cylinder pain in the ass.....

A month ago, something split the case right at the front sprocket on my CRF450R.... finally got it all tore apart (after needing about 400 specialty tools) and ordered the case this morning... $400 for the case and all the bearings that need pressed into it... ugh! Should have stuck with 2 strokes... probably tons of used cases all over the place...

that sucks Bish. Did you have a case saver on there? Just from perusing the online motorcycle stores, that item looks very popular with the 450 crowd. Apparently, it's needed.
