You have to admit, the thread I just closed was baited from the start. There are a ton of guys (including myself) that would have been interested in following that thread without the BS. Ive had buicks, chevys, pontiacs, and even a VW. I like cars in general, well maybe not the Jap scrap. Im not loyal to any brand or model.

No hurt feelings here, but I sure judged him to be a doucher. Sucks too, cause my policy is if I don't like the crowd that a car tends to be owned by, I don't like the cars. I follow that to a "t". I like the 350z, can't stand the cry babies that own them. Same with the s2000.

edit: and I wouldn't be so ignorant as to go into the LS2GTO.com pittsburgh thread and start shit up with you guys. What's the point? We all like fast cars, and I'm glad that we don't all have the same cars. All I'm saying is that it was a bad idea from the beginning, and now a lot of people have the dak pegged as a egomaniac state trooper/d bag. I don't feel bad because it's all self induced on his (and his cronies') part. Hopefully he can take his own medicine and doesn't go hunting everybody that ridiculed him down and give them citations.

I drive the car from the interior 99.9% of the time , i'd rather have a comfortable well built interior then deal with hard plastic, rattles and overall cheap build quality of an interior just so I can have an "appealing" exterior (I love the GTO's subtle exterior, nobody knows what it is). I worry more about me then what other people think.

And one of my best friends since high school drives an 05 6 speed goat. Remember, I bought him HID's for christmas last year? Squeeks like a bitch and has had handful of problems (~42k miles) :o His corsa exhaust sounds better than any lsx I've ever heard in person though! I thought about looking into an ls1 goat for a daily, but realized that wasn't a gread idea (plus my friend already has one... and that would just be weird to me for some reason)

Word, I have been around here longer than 90% of the members on this board so I'm pretty sure I'm not here to invade. I generally try to keep my posts informative and encouraging and I really only get myself involved when I am provoked. Bo, I'm glad I don't follow your "if I don't like cars owners I don't like the car" policy since I know just as many d-bag Mustang owners as I do d-bag GTO owners. Hell, I don't think I'd like any car if that was the case since they exist in all owner bases.
And John, as far as I'm concerned as long as it says gto on the side then its a real gto to me.
