Probably go back to going through Frankfurt. My last flight on NWA sucked anyway, but I'm sure the "new" scanners and security will make it a real pain to go through there now. I hate connecting through Philly or some of the other options.

Security at that airport was kind of strange anyway. When you walked in it was all open. Even though imigration / passport control no security. You just sat in a lobby area outside the gate until a little before they where ready to load, then screend you right at the gate and you went into a small holding area / gate before boarding.

Thats one of the things I liked about that airport and I'm glad they still do it. That way you can bring food/drink in from the outside and enjoy it until you scan to board your flight instead of being prisonraped by the airport.

Have they gotten rid of indoor smoking at Schiphol yet? I heard they were going to a few years ago but I don't know if they did (which would leave Ben Gurion as the last airport that has indoor smoking in some form that I'm aware of).

I'm not a smoker, so I don't pay too much attention, so I might be out of date.

AMS still had smoking rooms last I remember seeing them, but was thinking I don't remeber fro mthe last few times through there ???

Frankfurt still had "lounge" areas that are basically stands every now and then in an area where you can smoke. They are noticable because they are out in the open. Not sure if that changed as Europe is really catching up to the US with smoking bans, or so i'm told.

I know every airport I've been in China has smoking rooms. That will be one of the last hold outs to conforming ;) It's pretty darned ingrained in culture there.

So my phone is up for a upgrade.. I have verizon wireless and right now have the dare and i hate it... So what kind of phones do you guys have or like? I rather have a samsung but open to all right now..

I have the droid as well. Does pretty much everything you can imagine and more. I have no complaints so far. I've had it for a few months and its holding up to my abuse well too.

Well, what do you pay a month now? For unlimited everything(txt, data, internet etc) and 450 peak minutes that I don't use, I pay $80 a month. So really its not too bad I guess. Plus I'm writing this from my phone right now lol.
