I made it around last year in the "Snowmageddon" last year on crap tires. If it gets bad ill post up needing a set. I will throw some sand bags in the trunk as well once it starts snowing.

    Thanks for asking!

Looks like I am picking it up tomorrow around 2ish. They are having it inspected for me and oil change etc. and they are going to "wax it up" for me.

The reason this took so long is because the idiots at State Farm sent me a check and it was short by over a grand! I called and I at this point was fed up and done. They said it was a mistake, but I cant see how something like that would slip through the cracks. I think it was on purpose, I just have that feeling but they sent it out and I am waiting for that. I try no to loose my cool or be mean over the phone, but this whole ordeal has pushed me to the brink. I am glad its (almost) over. And to top it off I had Verizon send me a new phone because the track ball is stuck, should be here Monday so I am looking forward to dealing with that. So needless to say tomorrow is going to be a busy day.

As soon as I get it Ill snap some pictures of it and post them up.

Ive been reading up over on Modded mustangs on the 99-04s. I just read a write up on how to make the hood scoop functional, I'm torn due to water getting in there. Anyones views on this?

I wouldn't screw with the hoodscoop. No advantages there. Water getting in there wont really hurt but it will make keeping your engine bay respectable looking a heavy task.

Yeah, it would be impossible to keep clean.

Next on my list is MP3 aux jack on the stock head unit. i have to figure out what to buy to hook them up. I had a AM/FM transmitter in my old Stang and the sound quality was horrible. I had a Sony head unit in my Jeep I swapped over which had the Aux jack on the face plate. When they totaled the 95 I didn't bother ripping it out.

Ive been searching on Goggle tonight looking for what I need.

Tonight my wife had to work late, so after work I picked up my daughters and headed home. Earlier in the day my Father-in-law had stopped by the house for something and found that our 5 1/2 year old 115 pound English Lab, Samson, had gotten into some candy my wife had stashed. 7 packs of m&m's to be exact. Oh - and my lunch ( leftovers from Bravo ) that I had forgotten on my way out the door in the morning. Great... As soon as I walk in the door around 6:15 I know something isn't right. Holy cow - I know that smell. Somebody is sick. I'm assuming it was Samson, but as I look around the house, there is plenty of odor, but no "accident". I make my way upstairs to our bedroom which we keep shut during the day because Otis, our 50-pound 7-month old chocolate English Lab pup, is crated up there during the day. Holy cow - the smell is WICKED!!! I'm thinking this is going to be a disaster...

I open the door and it like I just walked into hell. The smell is overwhelming. I've changed a ton of nasty diapers in my time and they NEVER were anything like this... I go over to the crate, and there is absolutely no mess inside. What the...???? After a minute, I realize Otis must have gotten sick in the crate and then decided to have a snack. Yeah - pretty gross... But hey - I'm thinking...I really lucked out here - he got sick, ate it, and there is almost nothing to clean up other than wiping the cage crate clean. I just need to get some fresh air into the house...ok, I can handle that... I take Otis outside and he does his thing in the yard and I can tell from what comes out that he isn't feeling great. Hey...at least he's empty now... No dinner for him tonight - just a few sips of water. Same goes for Samson, since he snacked on m&m's and chicken parm earlier.

So the air inside is clearing somewhat and I feed the kids dinner - homemade beef veggie soup. Awesome. Ok - the night is getting better.

After dinner I unload the dishwasher and fill it up with all the dirty dishes, and as I'm wrapping up with that...

Oh man...that smell is back...where's Otis???

He's in our gameroom off of the family room, and has just run at least one lap around the pool table while unloading massive quantities of brown liquid whose origin came from God-knows-where. Silly me - I thought he was empty... Oh my God...it is everywhere...

Fast-forward about 3 hours and the stains and the smell are almost gone. Plenty of time on hands & knees blotting, scrubbing, rinsing...and my wife hit it hard with the carpet cleaning machine.

What a perfect end to a perfect day...

Got the GT today! I only got to drive it about an hour before heading to work. So far I love it, but I might have to get some tire under it. I had a tough time getting home, slidding and drifting. I might try to figure out tomarrow how to get my MP3 player to work, I hate the radio sometimes.

Ill snap some pictures tomarrow and Id like to post a vid of the exsaust as well.

Couldnt be happier with it. Going from a 95 auto v6 to a 03 maual v8 is night and day.

Wow! Sounds like a night from hell! I think I would've been gagging the whole time cleaning it up.
