No I dont, Its just my luck thought. I havent even had the car a week. Im assuming after looking in the owners manual it said emissions so 02 sensor(s)?

If you bought it from a dealer I'd definitely approach them about the check engine light issue. Hopefully it isn't a big deal - hang in there.

Yeah Ive always wanted to get one. My dads 02 Ranger threw a code acouple weeks ago as well, it would come in handy.
Now I just have to trust some kid at Advance Auto to pull the code.

I'd say take it back to the dealer and have them take care of it.
no you don't....
they'll give it to you and let you do it yourself.... its not exactly hard...
1.) plug it in
2.) turn the ignition key on - dont' start the car
3.) follow the on-screen menu....
really, if you know how to use a computer - which since your on the internet i'd like to think you do - it will be an easy task... :D

And the slippery slope begins, but if you are considering purchasing a code reader, you might also consider just getting a hand held tuner. This way you can read codes and turn up the wick ;)
