I thought its was bright, not alot of lights around. The clarity of the surface is what got me, pretty cool. But cant beat the ring around the moon a few weeks ago.

It's a diesel so it doesnt liketo turn RPM, but man does it haul ...

Nope, I rent a TON, so they gave me the uprade ;) I need to check, but I "think" I have driven rentals more this year than my own stuff.

Driving the Turbo Capri just gets me the chicks

Yes, exceptionally smooth and plenty of power. Too many gears do my liking, but that's typical of European cars so you can keep rev low for economy ... did I mention I like rpm?

Been driving a lot in the 160-180 kph range, been to 200 a couple of times. Car is marked as 205 max right now because its on winter tires. At the duration you can be at speed here, you need to pay attention to tire speed ratings.

LOL, well, in my case, I took a job at a global company with responsibilities for a critical process nobody else really understands ;)

There are times I like some of the travel, like here in Europe, it's a great place to be, I have a car and a GPS, and I'm visiting vendors all over the countries (lots of road miles, being shown around, etc). This is however the exception, most times it's groundhog day .... plant, hotel, plant, hotel, plant, hotel, plant, hotel, what the heck day is it???, airport ...

ROFL... yeah I know its hurtin pretty bad..... This winter really took a toll, then the weather went from about -7 and sunny to +4 and rain for 5 days in a row. I had off work for the first 2 days then the 3rd I tried to back out and it was so soft the car spun down to the chassis :lol:

I got someone local to get stone, and that will probably be put on with some sort of pad at the end so I can actually do some work without fighting the ground.

Edit - but the car is mad tyte, eh? :)

What is wrong with some people?

Found a mustang for cheap. Very cheap. Called him up last night and things seemed legit. Told him I wanted to come up today after my AM appointment and if I liked what I saw Id hand him over a cashier's check on the spot. He says no problem.

(EDIT - I get back from work last night at midnight to find he reposted the car and reduced the price another 500 bucks citing "he just wanted it gone"... well dude it was gone I told you I was coming and would give you a check if it really was as advertised- there were no engine or interior pics)

I get back from my appointment and call him to get directions to the car. He answers his cell phone and says "oh sorry, its sold, the guy is driving it away right now". he sounded like he was in his car

There was an article in the Trib today about the grand opening (unveiling?) of the new Connellsville Amtrak train station on April 9th. It cost $1.25 MILLION. Yes. $1.25 MILLION. It looks like a 10x12 glass box with stone wings. At work, figured the construction was worth about $250K and somebody pocketed the million. Or, a group of unsavory wrongdoers, ie. politicians and elected officials. And, there's not even a bathroom in the damn place. Article said Amtrak didn't deem it necessary because of the low volume of passengers in Connellsville. I guess if just one person goes to catch the train and he/she has to pee, that's OK! For $1.25 MILLION, we figured we could build a Paint Room or Bud Murphy's in the parking lot of the Riverview Apartments along with mens and womens bathrooms. I guess the logic was somebody would have to police a 24-hour per day public restroom, but ahem!!! the friggin' police station is 100 yards away. So, now all the old ladies in the aforementioned Riverview Apts. can watch the drunks pee out in the open at 3AM. And, why yes my dears, it did say it was FEDERAL FUNDS. Great! Didn't Joe Hardy clean up, paint up, scrub up, mock up the whole Main Street of Uniontown for a measly 1 Million a few years ago. Who the hell decided that a "rarely used" (obviously) $1.25M train station was the best use of federal funds in order to jump start the economy in C'ville? Wow! Look what you did to me. hahahaha
