LOL, If we got paid for it, we likely wouldnt have to do it ;)

In the grand scheme of things, we all want more, but I don't complain much about my salary.

I'm salary+no exempt.....I get paid for everything I do work related as long as I claim it. That includes washing their van they give after regular hours, answering the phone while off to help another tech, or even look/respond to an email on my phone which they provide.

I don't complain salary but the OT gets very old esp when I can't unplug from work.

No doubt about that, I always want more, but I have no complaints, mortgage isn't late and I can feed the family.

I am in South Florida for work, and matt99 informed me that Steeda in Pompano Beach, so I stopped by to check out their operation. They didnt have much in the garage except for the SCCA car thats on their Facebook page, and they wouldn't let me in Bldg. 4 which houses all the test pigs. Darn.

so, we have to do this stupid "self evaluation" here at work. it's the most difficult thing to do. how do you try to sound humble, yet tell your boss how great you are at the same time?

anyhow, there's a certain "box" that is our area to fill out, but all the other questions are on the same form that the boss is supposed to complete.

i answered one of the questions for him.

WHAT CAREER AMBITIONS DOES THE EMPLOYEE HAVE?

to be President of the United States.

Self-evaluations are a PITA, no doubt. Clear goals have to be established up front - and that makes it a lot easier to rate your efforts.

I wouldn't mind finding a DSG one eventually. I need a truck to tow though, and I think their tongue rating is only like 500 lbs, if that.

In my down time here at work yesterday since it's been painfully slow lately, I felt the urge to browse some old posts in this off topic b/s section. Read at least 70-80 pages, and there were numerous times that I literally loled here at work..

Thanks to Mike for keeping the site going!
