I know this but today was just a reinforcement.

People are inconsiderate. I ALWAYS open doors for ladies, older folks...pretty much anyone. Today I was out and about by myself for a little while running errands...on my crutches. I went to the bank, Subway and the chiropractor. Not a single person opened a door for me. They just stood there and watched. One girl, mid twenties and thought she must have been hot, cut me off and went in the Subway ahead of me without saying a word. I wanted to reach out with my crutch and wack her in the tramp stamp....didn't see one but it looked like her style. At the bank an older couple stood there and watched while I wrestled with the door.....if anyone would have the decency to open a door I thought it would have been them.

That's ridiculous man. I work in healthcare and I refuse to let someone struggle or to cut someone off that is in need of assistance. People are douchebags Dan. They don't understand morals or anything involving respect. Everyone wants help but won't turn to help someone else. I bet if you were a millionaire and they noticed, they would definitely want to help you.

Yep - people are AAAA-holes anymore. I'm the same as you Dan. I hold doors for everyone. Growing up my Dad owned a beer distributor and I worked there in high school and thru college. I called everyone Sir and Ma'am. Ok - for hot girls I dropped the "Ma'am." To this day I address just about anyone I know the same way. Just the way I was raised. These days, my older daughter's friends come to the house and some call me Ron. Man does that burn my ass. The world we grew up in is LONG gone. Sad but true. We are toward the end of a dying breed.

That being said...holy crap I'm glad it is Friday!

The wife just told me they are expecting 4-8" of snow on Monday.

My bank just called me saying someone has been trying to purchase a ton of stuff online with my card. Luckily that card is shut down and no harm was done. I'd like to find the SOB who tried it, i'd probably lose my freedom if I found him/her.

The muffler on the F150 had rusted thru, so today I removed the over axle pipe and tailpipe and installed a nice used Borla muffler and a 90 degree bend exiting near the front of the passenger wheel. She is still a REALLY slow truck, but dang she sounds good now!
