Saturday morning I put the Capri in the garage and covered it up for another month right in the middle of racing season.
Really bad timing in the middle of racing season. Back to the land of obscured sun and censored Internet.

Man I hope your job compensates you well, that would be terrible to have to leave home for a month at a time, let alone having to goto China...

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
^^^Indeed. Stay safe. That does suck.
I've been watching a lot of WRC Group B stuff after seeing a show on it on Velocity a couple days ago. That wouldve been awesome to see live. Talk about the need for speed outweighing safety.
I guess pikes peak would be the closest way to see anything close in the US.
Those spectators are IDIOTS!!!

Where so you guys recommend getting an front end alignment for a lowered Mustang with MM caster camber plates? Preferably around the south hills/Washington area.

A few were killed along with a few drivers as well. Here's a great article on jalopnik. I'm amazed at the power and speed of these cars on dirt none the less. The article says the ford rs200 would do 0-60 in 2.1 seconds. To put it in perspective, the bugatti veyron does it in 2.5. The drivers would be mentally and physically drained after each stage. The cars pushed the limits of comprehension which ultimately ended in death and the end of group B.

Here's an even better video. Looks like it's in fast forward :D

Pikes Peak is a hillclimb. Pretty much THE hillclimb, but if that is what you want to see we run them right here in PA (eastern, at 3 separate venues, 5 different events one being run twice a year, another same hill two different lengths), with one even closer in Cumberland, MD. The event in Cumberland is on August 3-4. Lots of American Iron shows up, along with some pretty insane open wheel cars. At the last event we had an ex-Champ car.
If you want to see some rally, there are also a few events fairly close to us. Check out http://rally-america.com/.

Wow! I live 30 miles from Cumberland. Definitely trying to go to this. Thanks Mark! Are you going to be there? Is there a website for the Cumberland event so I can get more info and where it is exactly?
Edit: Nevermind I think this is it. http://www.polishmtnhillclimb.com/compete.html

Yes, that should be the correct website. I will be there, planning to get there early Saturday morning. There is a car show and a live band Friday night as well. Haven't attended it (the car show) in years so I really can't say whether it is worth going or not. I usually just drive there Saturday morning since it is so close, most of the other hills are 4+ hours away.
I have to admit, this is not the best hill to spectate at, but there is a bus that takes you up and down the hill to different spots so you can get close to the action. You can also roam through the pits freely and talk to all the drivers and look at the cars. I will be in a white '84 Mustang.

Thrashed on the family room today. Been dragging butt on the remodel. Ran all the wiring for new lights, fan, did a complete t&g pine ceiling, got the lights in and fan installed. Would have rather been at the PVGP but the mood struck me to get this done so I jumped on it. Just need to do the trim, flooring and furniture.
Wish you could have made it to the PVGP today Dan - wow did we have a huge turnout!
