I was planning on coming down. But I got to thinking about the woodpile.....that's the priority since I'm months behind on where I normally am. The wife and kids were going away for the day so I had hours of uninterupted time that I could work on firewood. I've not gone to any cruises this year other than one in July when the Ranger broke down on the way home with an electrical bug. And we've spent more time as a family going fishing, swimming, etc on days that I would have been going to a cruises in the past.

Bad mojo is happening inside the Ranger's C4. Went for a ride this evening and the trans was acting funny when pulling out...kind of like it was slipping but that just didn't feel like the problem since it would do it in all gears...even reverse. On the last staight stretch before the garage I decided to lean on the convertor a little to see when it would flash. Well it normally started to grab around 3K but it went to 3500 and then let loose and the engine revved freely. I tried to goose it the rest of the way home but coasted to a stop about 200yds from the driveway. So my daughter drove while I pulled it the rest of the way with the Kubota. Bummer.

It has no forward gears or reverse. Hoping it is just a convertor problem.

Yepper. Pulling thre tranny is a chore in that thing. BUT....if it broke, then it was not strong enough anyhow and needed upgraded.

Figured this would fit since this area is called "the bar". Girlfriend of almost exactly one year just broke up with me out of no where. No warning, nothing. Pretty shocked/upset. Just started school again, got the new ride, was ready for a great year and then this happens.

Just figured id post it to blow off steam..

A good friend of mine was just served divorce papers last wk. He was shocked. His wife of 12 years just out of the blue decided she wanted a divorce. They have 2 great kids and he is a great father and now he's gonna have to pay child support and alimony. Bunch of B.S!

My Boss has actually been down here with me bc of the nice weather. I had a 4 year relationship fail and that sucked, but this seems to hit me in a weird way. Maybe its because i'm slowly getting older and done with the sleep around phase. (ohh freshman year lol) But regardless, I wish i would've known this was coming.

Buy the MM camber gauge for $60 and make your own toe gauge. All in you will have $80 in it. Free alignments after that!

I was calling around today at lunch and talked to Dan at Fowler Automotive F.A.S.T (owner). Really nice guy, talked to him for almost half an hour about suspension set ups, bump steer and racing. I really respect owners that take the time to talk things out and treat you like you would want to be treated. Alot like dealing with Mike@wolfpack. We came up with a pretty good plan after boucing some questions off him. Looking at his website he's got some wicked cars going through that shop. Hung up from him feeling really good about it.

Turns out that he and my dad raced SCCA Formula Atlantic at around the same time. Thought that was really neat he's still at.
