I'd like to see that at the strip. It has to be better than half the videos where people are moving the camera so badly it makes you nauseous!

Never understood how guys get this crazy MPG. Best I ever got out of the C5Z was 25 driving like a grandma on the highway, the '14 GT is getting 17 in mixed turnpike/city driving. Wife's BMW getting about 16 driving back and forth to downtown but gets 30 on long trips if she keeps her foot out of it. Best I ever got in the '14 was 22, all highway.

It looks like it would be a pretty cool little device. I'm thinking about getting one and testing it out just to see if it actually works as well as they claim. If it does, I'm going to become a wedding videographer and rake in some serious cash.
Idiots paying way too much for services: "Why do we have to wear these?"
Me: "State of the art microphones, makes sure I capture everything.. Don't worry about it, you won't even know it's there"
Lol in all seriousness though, it probably would be pretty wild at the track and would surely beat the pants off the people who are trying to zoom in and shaking it all over the place.

Who's got the 94-98 Black GT on chrome Saleens by the boat entrance to Cross Creek? Saw it the other day and saw it again this morning when I went out. Looks like it's in good shape.

Are you guys reading tanks of fuel mileage or just down hill roles? My Super Duty can flash up some crazy numbers right after I fill up but there is NO way those numbers are correct.
Even with my large spectrum of cars over the years that I drove the wheels off of, I have never seen MPGs as stated by the manufactures on a daily bases. This accounts for GM, Dodge, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Ford. Yes I might get some freeway driving in and get very close but to see freakish numbers like you guys are would put Prius sales in the negatives. EVERYONE would by a vette for the gas mileage alone.

So im looking to build an AR in .308 (DPMS pattern) and I'm looking for a lower parts kit that includes a fairly wide grip. As a comparison the grip on my bushy carbon is narrow and my hand position to get the trigger on the pad of my finger is not ideal.
Suggestions?
Also, trying to decide between 20" and 24" barrel. Purpose is mainly longer range shootings for situations where my 5.56 carbine with red dot may be inadequate.
Barrel length will aid in velocity (a little), not accuracy. The 20" will be much easier to handle and friendlier to tote. I'd suggest going 20" and watch the bullet BC to more efficiently minimize wind drift than chase velocity. Drop is easy to calc for, drift requires a bit more work.
Good to know, and it seems there is more available in a 20" and less costly.
What about grip? Am I better off getting the grip separate from a lower parts kit given that the bushy's grip (which seems "generic") is too narrow?
I dig it. The AR platform has its pluses and minuses for sure, but for what I am looking to do the platform really works for me especially in 5.56. It was a tough call to pull the trigger (pardon the pun) on a 308 build especially since the Browning BAR is an absolute work of art visually, but we have enough hunting firearms chambered in .308 in the house that I want to stretch my legs with the AR platofrm.
