Dan buys em dirty....cleans em up and sells quickly. Cam would be jealous.
Damnit Dan quit sending me PMs asking to sell some of my 1320 goats
Took this pic when I got out of the car to go check my game camera yesterday. It's as wide as the car track it stepped in. It's a double step but it still looks like a big Bear. uploadfromtaptalk1435627147878.jpg
Normally I try not to stereotype people, but after doing battle with a Porsche Panamera S today I did some googling and came across this blog...
http://www.sillysilberman.com/2013/0...che-sucks.html
Now if you have a life where either by luck or hard work you have the ability to enjoy a car like this, God bless you, but this blog entry just rubbed me the wrong way especially this part...
No bitch, if you bothered to look in your owner's manual you would see Porsche actually RECOMMENDS Mobil 1! Its expensive because if you can afford a Porsche you can afford a $300/hr labour rate. Talk about a princess...Let me give you an example. For a regular car/truck/SUV a typical oil change will cost you anywhere around $15-$40 bucks depending on what kind of oil you get, synthetic or not.
If we were to actually purchase a Ferrari 458 Italia the oil change is: WAIT WHAT. 7500
Yes that is not even made up. Unbelievable, you guessed it. For the Porsche anywhere from $250-$700. That's one expensive oil change. The price is like that because these exotic cars require specific oil to run properly. You can't just throw in some $6.99 Mobile 1 oil from Walmart into the car unlike 95% of other vehicles.
Nice! These are the same people that when speaking of motorcycles say "POWER BAND" like it's an actual physical thing. Every time somebody asks me if one of my bikes had a power band, I'd say, "Yeah, but I took it out and replaced it with a carbon fiber one. Runs waaaay better now".
ferrari 458 also uses mobil one

I did few oil changes on the 360 and a z06 . If I remember they were both dry sump setups and both piece of cake to do .
When I had the SRT I actually used the "supertech" walmart brand full synthetic. A couple of people over on the bob is the oil guy site sent some in for analysis and the results came back surprisingly good. I was religious about the oil change interval which may have played a big part in why I had no engine issues during the 100k miles I owned it (most of those with a bigger turbo).
I wonder what book is to do an oil change on a 360.
I remember around $1500 I believe.
Oil snobs, LOL
On the powerband thing, when I was a teenager we all had dirt bikes. My one friend was one of those know-it-all types who didn't know shit. My other buddy (knowing this dude was a jackass)was asking him about his Suzuki DR, and asked him if they used a yellow powerband since it was a Suzuki. He said yes, then started going on and on about his yellow powerband and how he was going to change it for more power. he was dead serious. LOL, the good ole days
Didn't Ferrari get sued over the big money oil changes in the Enzo?
