85 ss. Going to put the 86-88 doors on it though. The car sat for about 15 years or so. Almost rust free. Perfect frame rails. Perfect quarters. Just rusty doors. I don't like the position of the 85 and older mirrors so it's a good time to change up. Right now it's the stock 305. More than likely it's going to be 406 powered very soon.

The calypso car? I sold that to a guy out in Altoona.

Love those SS's Rob. I was hoping that's what you had! The later model SS's are not nearly as cool-looking as the mid-'80s SS's.

I can't even consider those an SS. Somebody says they have a monte ss and it's not a g body, I generally laugh and say that's not a monte.
In any case though. I did antique plates on it. Started doing some work. A buddy of mine did a few body repairs that I know I can't handle. He was blown away by how clean this thing is too.
I just have to decide...fast street car or fun car. Fun car has AC. Fun street car has nasty 406 and no AC.

Hey, you aren't the only one. I've been looking for GTA wheels for mine for a few months. Nothing out there at all. But, I've strongly considered doing the GN powa under my SS hood. I have the "right" guy as a good friend of mine. If you've been around these cars any amount of time, then you know who that is also.
Here's a hint, he was at the track rental with his sister.

Ok ok. I'll toss something up tomorrow for you guys. I know how everyone here lives pics! Haha. As of now, the car is BONE stock and I got it running. Decent power but not what,I'm used to.

Meh. The turbo 6 requires race gas to go mid 12's.
Ive saw low 11s from pump and meth from a boosted regal
