Think I was 4th overall out of 134. I went a bit faster run before this, this was pretty ugly. Sawing at the wheel and all that.

It is interesting how the tires will eventually find control after sliding....are you on Hoosiers?

I don't have any pics but the pics I saw, it looked horrible. Front end ripped off. Looks like nothing salvageable at all. He however did walk away. I think it said he wrecked at 170 mph.

I was at the track and in the tower when Tim wrecked. As you can see in the pics above, he was out and fine. I led the flatbed down to the shop, and his dad let us in. Seeing the car in the shop lights... I've seen some aftermath, but this one was the worst. It is very sobering. I am glad Tim took all the safety rules seriously. The car may be totaled, and he may be sore all over today, but he's still with us, walking and talking. The cage did its job.
