Spent all day working in the yard. Wifey cleaned the interior of her Aviator - what a mess. Time for a few Twisted Teas while I hang outside with the kids dogs and baby chickens.

Tomorrow is another day of painting interior doors - NICE!!!

Autocross tomorrow at North Park. Taking wife's M3 didn't get to run it last week at Steel Cities. Have to make sure nothing falls off before she goes on the full course at PittRace Thursday.

I was so pumped for Thursday, unfortunately my little boy was born 16 days early. 0% chance I'm allowed to go racing with a 6-day old at home. Ugh.

What time does it start and what time is it over? May head out to watch. Going riding with some friends on the Motorcycles tomorrow so it might be somewhere to ride.

They usually start running around 10:30 and finish between 4-5. They get lots of different stuff up there. Actually a cool place to cruise to. Usually guys parked across the road watching. I'll be in a blue E36 M3 4 door. Don't feel like dragging both cars on the trailer up there.

The chickens were bought by my mother-in-law in a moment of weakness. Once they are a little bigger we will give them to a friend of my wife. They are cute but smelly little buggers. But the kids and their friends have had a lot of fun playing with them and watching them grow.

It was a pretty frustrating day for me. Sat on a 32.8. And I didn't even think it was clean but I guess I just brushed the cones and they didn't fall over. I found out what I wanted to but the car just isn't fast enough to hang with the two fast STU cars. The auto isn't really that bad on track but it really held it back yesterday, plus I'm not on the "cheater" rubber, but the car held together and is very balanced at the limit and probably won't kill her.

Managed a 33.210 but whacked a cone in the slalom. 33.3xx was my best clean run. Figs managed a 32.6 in my car (when he kept it on track) so driver needed :P

When you guys do that is the course more obvious than it seems on the vids? It seems confusing. Do you do a practice or walk-thru first? I might have to try this out someday in this stupid Miata... supposed to be what it's made for anyway!

Yeah the track is open for walking before the drivers meeting. There's also a novice guided walk through. I usually try to walk it 3 or 4 times.

If you notice there are also chalk likes helping to define where to go. It looks confusing but once you walk it a few times and get out there on course it's easy.

We've gone over this before. It's waaaaaaay cheaper to swap Miata for car that came with LS from factory. :haha:
