Awesome numbers especially with a tune. John wants to know what the MPG will be before and after the tune.

right now with 300 miles on it ( and getting on it here and there because....boost), averaging 17.

Was really considering one of these....I was reasarching and guys were getting 23 mpg highway crew cab or ext cab 4x4.

One guy in tx was getting 27mpg 2wd tx flatlands.


In fact I even started a 2.7mpg thread on FTE. ;)

so far I love it, makes less power than my old 5.0 but this truck weighs far less and the torque delivery is amazing. feels faster.

I was doing some reading and supposedly you can disconnect the up pipe and cap it off, and this thing will blow off boost real loud. anyone know exactly what and where the up pipe is? there are no videos. I know nothing about turbo setups.

If it's the same as my 3.5 truck the bov should be near the left corner of the innercooler. Check out ecoboost bov and or wasregate search. Should have a good read on how to do it on the 3.5l trucks then just look to see if urs is the same?? I've seen the article but can't find it right now.
