Dan - is this adjacent to your property? 40 acres would be sweeeeet.

Just down the road about 4 miles. Depending on the timing I may be able to keep the current house and garage location. If it happens sooner than later I'll likely sell the current location and move down there. The good thing about that is my current debt to equity would nearly allow me to pay cash for the farm. The longer I have to wait, the better my DTE will get and allow me more options on how to buy it.

That's awesome buddy. Would you have to build a new garage or is there a building there that you could move your toys into?

New house and garage are a must. Current garage is rough....wouldn't keep a lawn mower in it. Current house is about 120yrs old. I have some ideas of how I would change the lay out, door locations, lift location, etc from my current garage.

I cant overstate how much happy dance I have done since I built my garage. Going from rented spaces to something of my own, right in my back yard, the way I want it changed so much. The other day I was just sitting in ti with the cars watching it rain, lol. I thought I was okay with what I had until I had my own.

Yeah my car is stored less than a me from my house and I pay 50 a month to store it. No electricity but I'm the only one with access but unfortunately it's only a 1 car unit with not much room. When we get our bathroom done this year I think the garage will be on the agenda soon. Definitely envious of your setup. It's exactly what I want. How much did your cement run when you did yours? I'm sure you told me before.

If I did, use that number, lol ... It's been a while, we went 6" thick, and I had excavation, gravel, and a retaining wall all with the same contractor so I'm not even sure now what part was concrete. At this point I look at it like a MasterCard ad ... priceless, lol.

I think a 24x32 at 6 inches should be around 14-15 yards the way I figured. Maybe I'm totally off though lol

I got a buddy building a garage now. It's something stupid like 62' x 92'. He's doing 25' of concrete around the back 3 sides and 35' in the front on top of the entire interior. It looks like he is building a shopping center in his back yard.

X2 .... looking like another weekend without racing.

Renegade already cancelled Saturday, and no way I'm going to try Maple Grove for NMRA. I desperately need to get 2 or 3 more test hits on my junk.

X 1000 on this weather. Glad all my yard work and mulching are done already. Damn grass is growing like crazy - cutting it every 5 days or so.
