Well I forgot the window in my bedroom. The screen only covers the bottom half. Had top opened maybe 3". Around midnight I hear an odd noise on the blinds. Course it's a fn bat just chilling. Think maybe it will go back out the way it came in. Oh hell no, lets play a game of thru the blind and fly around the room after midnight *$#@%^&@#!
Half hour later managed to smack it out of the air. Hit wall stunned, collected it up and back outside it went. Back to sleep
after closing top of window.

I hear that. I'm tired today. Sullivan is a wizard and this team is so mentally tough. Now we move on to another hot team with another awesome goaltender. Should be a great series!

9 of 10 games come down to a bounce one way or the other. Teams that consistently win more of those than they lose are the better team. Glad to get a win last night for sure. Taking advantage of opportunities is what it is all about.

We had a game or two against the Senators where we were the better team and still lost the game. It goes both ways. Hopefully we have a more dominant performance for game two.

I mean Bonino's goal that made it 3-0, good bounce for the Pens, bad for the Preds, off Rinne and the defenseman and in. Take that bad bounce away, and it's 3-2 Preds in the closing minutes. Who knows if that changes the style of play, if Guentzel gets his goal in the third, etc.
Agreed, on the good teams seeming to win with those bad bounces, and that the Pens were the better team in a couple of those losses with the Sens. I am sure Sullivan will make the right adjustments.
Don't forget the Preds had a goal bounce into our goal off one of their bodies.
