    SRT driving experience

I just got invited to the SRT driving experience and was wondering if anyone else ever did this? I only know of one person who has gone there and he said it was well worth it. And i was just wondering if its worth the 500 bucks for a day long session at Beaver Run. The vehicles are 600 hp Dodge Viper srt-10, Charger SRT8, Magnum SRT-8, 300C SRT-8, Grand Cherokee SRT8, and the caliber srt-4.. I would really LOVE to drive the cherokee. So anyone go? Any feedback from the day and instruction?

I've done the Richard Petty driving experience and liked it. That was worth it for me. I know I won't be driving anything like that too often. The instruction for the Petty experience was watching a video, going around the track in a Van showing where to be and what to look for. Then they showed us one of the vehicles what to do and keep an eye on when you were driving. Heck, I have a DVD of me driving the car on the track.

ive done it 2 times at beaver run, first with my srt 10, an second with my jeep srt 8
included with the purchases of the vehicles

this was before the richard petty group took it over ,

we did the large track in crossfires, chargers, magnums srt's u followd an instructor in 3's an each took turns moving in line behind him for 3 laps

next we went to a smaller inside track with vipers/crossfires, not bad but you couldnt get the viper out of 2nd gear as they didnt want them off the road

3rd we did cones an 0-60 runs with the srt jeeps and 300c ( i as well did the jeep with intake/exhaust which at the time it was may 06 so they didnt have much out for the jeep when i bought mine upgrade wise and i wanted to see the difference etc)

then back to the large track for the thrill rides which was intense

I took my dad so i paid for his way at the time it was 250 now its 500 a person

i recently completed the BMW "M" driving school down in spartanburg and i will say it was MUCH more intense, they actually teach you ALOT more

but I would do the SRT experience again, next season they will have the challengers as i was told

in fact if anyone is close to KREBS dodge on RT8 my buddys new orange ACR viper is on display there for a month till he takes it home wikked car ( although he will never drive it, it will be parked next to all the other TROPHYS as i like to tease him )
