On my 04 coupe with the stock clutch I would side step it at 4k....best 60' of 1.72 on 18" nitto Dr's....stock IRS with diff cover brace and KB front diff brace.
if I had the tire or teh clutch I would've tried more rpm....Like Lou said..they're heavy cars, and 2.66 1st gear with 3.55 rear gears isn't freakin helping. :)
Given the opportunity to do it over again on a ported eaton car, I would've went with a steel flywheel, RAM HD clutch, 4.10 gears, 28" tire. 6400rpm at 130mph
