I've decided to sell my 87 turbo notch. I have other priority's in life right now. This car is super clean with 102k on the clock. Paint is almost all original. 5spd, mods are
-Cartech street sleeper turbo system pushing 12 pounds of intercooled boost.
-306 ci, trick flow pistons, ported Gt-40 alu. heads o-ringed, aftermarket cam (specs unknown) cobra intake.
-255 intank pump with cartech inline pump.
-old school hurst short throw, ford racing 3.55 gears.
-Brand new abaco dbx mass air meter($430 new)
-msd dist. with coil, and performance distributors livewires.
-Battery relocated to the trunk
The fmu either needs rebuilt, or ditch the fmu all together and go with a bigger injector and a custom tune. While trying to tune the car, the original trans. let loose. Now there is a replacement t5 which works fine other than 3rd fans when shifted quick. This car needs little to be one nasty notch. Car starts right up, runs and drives perfectly until you accelerate hard then the fmu spikes fuel pressure inconsistantly(needs rebuilt $30). The interior is very nice, and I wouldnt be affraid to show the car. Clean notches are hard to come by now days, and this is one of them for sure!! I will get some better pics up later.
