    Exclamation idle problems???

so I installed my bbk cold air intake today, but now the car idles bad. the rpm's go up and down, n if I dont give it gas it will just die? I was trying to clean the one sensor that screws into the intake tube, and bent the sensor, but bent it back. any suggestions, can I get one of those sensors at a local auto parts store?

Did you check all the clamps to make sure everything is tight? It's simple but you Have to start somewhere. I dont know the exact setup of the 94-95 air inlets, but if thats your iat sensor that was bent than you can get one at a parts store..

do you have different injectors and using stock mass air?

Try replacing that sensor, and clean mass air, tb and check to see if mass air is working

    what meter are you using?

had this trouble before and some meter just don't like piping on the front side of them

    a good example:

had a 80mm c&L meter and with the filter on the end of it it would idle like a champ.I took the filter off aput put a 3 1/2 chrome elbow pipe on(like the BBK one just bigger and it rolled idle immedialtely. It didn't matter if the pipe had a filter or not.I could take the pipe off and put the filter back on and would stop rolling idle and idle great. All of this while the car was runnnig so I know for a fact it was the pipe
    88 GT...and some boost

I have a stock maf sensor, and injectors, I went out and ran it again and it seemed to idle better after I tryed tightened up the couplings some more. not sure if that was it, but I'm still gonna try to replace the sensor sometime this week

I don't remember what mods you got? Did you disconnect the negative battery cable while you put the cai on? If not, it'll take 3 or 4 driving cycles (car on / off again) before the stock computer makes some adjustments. Or, go out and disconnect it now and let it sit for a few minutes.
