I was at that show. The last dude drove down rt1 and tried to park and hide. They found him and he came back to the scene.

What a bunch of freakin idiots. Why anyone would do this crap while merging onto a crowded freeway is beyond me. The a$$hole who did the big burnout causing traffic to stop because they couldn't f'n SEE could have caused a massive pileup. And the jacka$$ with the camera saying "That is AWESOME!!!" should be beaten senseless. And why can't these morons learn how to lay some tire and still keep their car straight? Jesus!!!!!!!!

I was at the show as well. That black GTO pulled over about a 1/2 mile down the road. An off-duty police officer made him come back to the crash scene. The operator of the GTO related to the police officer that his Traction Control must have been not been working.

Back when we had the street racing discussion going I was strongly against it. This is the stuff I envision when that topic comes up. But I thought about it and realize that it's not so much street racing I'm against. It's morons like this. Pretty much any moron doing moronic things that endanger other people while driving a car.
That video is an embarrassment to car enthusiasts in general and GTO and Vette owners in particular.
Pretty pathetic on many different levels. From their choice of location to driving skill and everything in between.

So this is why we get crap everytime we have a meeting in a parking lot. I thought cops were being "cops" but after seeing this video I want them around. Like my shirt says "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups"
