Going by your location, i'm assuming this race didnt take place in the middle of a city/large town... I personally think i'd be a little uneasy racing at that speed out in the country at night.... deer + bike @ 140mph = loss for all parties involved

out of 300 bikes i qualified 4th in my class at mir this past weekend with a 8.90 and a perfect .000 light then went out 1st round with a .005 red.that sucked but if anyone is into sport bikes that is the place to go for a big bike event
