    clutch cable route

    hey how does the clutch cable mount to the firewall and run down to the transmission? mine seems to bend down a little and what does the mount on the cable mount too?

    Did you get a firewall adjuster? If not then it mounts with a little self tapping screw at the firewall. The bracket in the middle attaches to the frame rail. Find a nice smooth path down past the oil pan to the hole in the bell housing.

    at the firewall, it presses into the appropriate hole directly in front of clutch quadrant and theres a small screww just off the side of it that holds it in, the mount halfway down the cable attaches to the framerail just in front of the strut tower - there's a small tang that fits into a hole then line up bolt holes, the business end slips thru a hole in the bellhousing and ball end fits into clutch fork. oh, and other end obviously hooks over quadrant pawl

    yes I got a firewall adjuster.so the cable just slides into the adjuster and that it? it seems kinda loose up there.

    hey did you get my txt about the mount. I might need it not sure yet. also i riged up a harness for the reverse lights.

    the other night i forget what time. hopefully in the next couple day the tranny should be in and ill know if i need that mount. Im hoping I don't need it because i dont want to drive out to your house lol. but Ill let you know!
