"I took Glenn88TC's car to the track lastnight for the first time since I've owned it. I've changed the motor combo since when Glenn had it, but the rest is still the same. It's built just out of parts I had laying around, mostly stock junk.

Stock shortblock
Factory head, factory stock sized valves. I ported the head, but it doesn't even have a valve job done to it
8993 hg with TTY bolts
25psi
Stock T5
Stock 3.55 rear
27x10.5 Hoosier QTP, old and hard
GT40 with the small turbine wheel in a .68 T4 housing

It went 11.94 @ 121.01 with a 1.95 60'. Traction was a big problem. The 1.95 was the best of the night and that was a combo of slipping the clutch and spinning.

I'm not going to buy new slicks before winter. So, it's going to get some other suspension parts and maybe go fast enough to get kicked out.

It made as much as 435rwhp on the dyno on Thursday!

I haven't weighed it yet, but I'm guessing somewhere around 3500 with me in it."
