A win is a win. Imagine how much more it would have sucked to LOSE a game like this.
We are really beat up right now. Hard to say what will happen next Sunday night in Jacksonville, as they have huge problems with their O-line as well. Tonight's game showed what can happen when you hang around and play "good" defense.
I'm not saying we are Super Bowl bound. Far from it. But at 3-1 so far, with the large number of injuries to key players - Willie Parker, Casey Hampton, Brett Kiesel, DeShea Townsend ( limited action ), and injuries to the 2nd and 3rd string RBs, this is about as good a position as you can hope to find yourself at this point in the season. Sure - when we were manhandled by Philly it was hard to take. And the first half of this game was hard to take. But we're 3-1 and in first place in the division. It is a long season, and we should see some improvement as we go on, even though our schedule is pretty ridiculous. But the other AFC North teams play the same 2 other divisions, so they should struggle as well. We can win the division with a 9-7 record or maybe even 8-8, and that has to be our first goal.
So hang in there and give our guys a little credit.
