    Engine shop

OK well I finally got off my ass and pulled my tranny and engine.
My family had some major life changing episodes this summer and the car was put on the back burner.

The tranny (PA C4) was leaking its ass off because it was sitting, thats being taken care of as we speak.

I had some problems this year with the car. Last time I ran it at Quaker City, after it's 4th pass, it started running like shit.
Now that the engine is pulled I noticed the rear pan seal is completely blown out. It was leaking badly after the last run. I checked the springs and rockers, everything looks fine. I may end of digging a bit deeper (pull the intake and heads, time permitting)

I need someone who deals with balanced and blueprinted race engines.
I want to send it out to get a complete "freshen up".
Who do you guys suggest? Or do any of you guys do this work?

Mike I know you mentioned someone last time we talked...which was a while ago.

What are your opinions on "freshen up" costs?
I was thinking of Motorworks in Greensburg, any opinions?

    Thanks guys....

Mark at Motorworks has an excellent reputation. He's done lots of work on a friend of mines race engine with excellent results. My friend has known and had work done by Mark over a period of 3-5 years.

I had some work don there a few years ago and they did a good job but were kinda expensive! I've only heard nothing but good things about them though.
