If you're not going to get anything for it, start shedding some pounds and make a light ass car, it'll do everything better and you won't have to worry about blowing the motor to get to your goals. I still think in the long run you might be better off financially by getting a terminator. If you're not going to get anything for the car, why sink a ton of money into it? That's one of the reasons I'm hesitant to order a whipple for my cobra

I think it depends on what you wanna do with it... If you wanna do lots of fish-tailing and jacking around, then the supercharger is your best bet..... but if you want flat out speed, and want to feel that power that seems like its never ending, turbo is the way to go...

That's the reason I went twin-turbo with my Trans Am... the fact that the LS1 has reasonably large cubes makes up for the lack of bottom-end in turbo setups, and then it just never stops pulling!!

I hear that, superchargers are fun as hell on the street tho, fish tailing or not. Hearing that blower scream is the best part hah, never gets old. For mostly street with some track use, I'd vote blower. First place I'd start with is a motor build though.

Turbo over sc any day, track or street. It's not about how many psi, it's about hp per psi and the melt your face torque the turbo will produce.

I love the sound of a blower, particularly the roots... but if you wanna hear a sweet sound, the whistling/hissing of a turbo (or two) on top of a V8 grumble is hard to beat.... my car sounds like a jet as its coming at you

But, i'm not sure the "sound" is a real sound place to make a decision about what direction to go.... lol

Turbo, Turbo, Turbo. I have had them both and there is no question. Turbo. For instance in my cobra I can adjust boost from 15psi to 25psi or 600whp to 818whp by just turning the knob on the electronic boost controller inside the car. No pulley changes, no different belt sizes, and no belt slippage just insane power.
