    Would my Dads car benefit from a LA3? Because he has a automatic cars ECU in it.

    Mike - Got behind on things, but all parts are here and it's going to happen. I have been thinking about going stand alone (mega squirt) but have decided I can get everything I want out of the EEC, plus help all you guys out that don't want to go further tham I am.
    I will be installing all of the parts for it right after the GGG race next weekend and hope to make some early shakedowns at the last few TnT's. Also planning to hit a dyno to get the final tune done then will be able to burn chips. Your car is next, I need another test mule.

    Shaun - Effectively, no. The 8UA and LB?? really are close to the LA3 as far as he will see for his combo right now. There is actually more timing in the mid range with the auto computers than with the LA / LA2 / LA3. When I start burning chips, I can put the LA3 timing map on the regular mode setting, then a race gas timing map on the premium mode setting for a flip chip. The main goal here is getting that barn door out of in front of our turbos! We will just need to wire that pin to a toggle switch, right now it's hardwired on your dad's, Franks, and "I think" your car too.

    Patience everyone, it will be ready for spring roll out latest.
