well im thinking of getting a new cable and maybe that will sovle my problem. does anybody know if the v6 cable are different then the v8?
also what kind of cables do you guys prefer? I heard a lot of bad thing about all adjustable cable so i was thinking of either getting a stock one or maxium motorsports non adjustable stock one.

does anybody have bushings on there cables by the firewall?
If one for a foxbody is the same as your car i got a stock ford one ill sell for $20 its brand new

It should fit 79-04 i have no idea. youd have to ask someone who knows bout that. the bushing meaning that plastic finned piece?
ok imma do sum more research and see wat kind of cable i need.
