castle is the same thing we have now. castle just means that you dont have to retreat before shooting in your own home.the only problem you have is the jury. you have to convince them that it was better to shoot first and ask questions later. i.e. protecting kids sleeping upstairs. walking towards you with a knife after being shouted to get out. as long as he has some sort of a deadly weapon you should be pretty much safe

Sorry but it's not the same, the castle doctrine will also insure no civil law suits can happen. I guarantee you if you take someone out and you are in the right 100% a civil lawsuit will follow and you will be taken to the cleaners, with the castle doctrine that won't happen. It also means that it does not only apply to your home, it applys pretty much whever you are. Here read up a bit more.

First, if someone comes in your home univited or is treaspassing, especially at !:00am, tell them to leave immediately serveral times. If they do not, pull your arm out from behind your back and start shooting. You told them several times to leave, and your protecting your family.

We use to own an apt building that had 6 rather large units in it. After the last tenant moved we only used it for storage. We started to have problems with break ins so my Dad basically booby trapped the whole damn building. Never got sued and the break ins stopped.
I agree with Lou on this one, death isn't exactly the answer, extreme pain and humiliation would be great though. Go back to the cutting of the hand for stealing system.
nah, just the way i would handle things if some1 tried to break into my house. to be out there 4 days a week working for what i have/want and then people try to steal it makes me mad.
