tubo kit back on the market

a bunch of you saw this at the dyno day last year, but i need to get rid of it to start work on my basement.

the oil return isses have been figured out and we know how to correct it. you will need a pump, i dont have mine anymore and a small catch can. Jeff From 1st-try could make it for you. gravity drain from the tubos to the can, and pump from the can to the oil pan.

    turbo's are newly rebuilt.

its a setup that is mounted low, with bumper on you can barely see any intercooler on a GT. uses a electric differential differential pump to pump the oil back up to the valve cover/or pan, either way, i recommend the pan.

Setup has honestly about 20 miles on it from just small rides around the block. it would come with intercooler, turbos, hotside and coldside piping, bov, and my h pipe which we modded to make it work, you would re-use your headers, no flanges need to be welded to the headers, they just need flipped. Before i started this i DID NOT have A/C or a smog pump and i do have electric fans, so im not sure about clearances with those accesorites

the kit requires minimal cutting/fab work to the engine bay, only thing you really lose is the bumper support and from sway bar. Downpipes are wrapped and turbos have internal wastegates set for about 7psi

i have probably well over $2500 invested in this kit, i didnt skimp on anything.

Im looking for $1500 for it.

My eyes are still burning from that day!

If the deal I'm trying to close on this Turbo kit Saturday falls thru, I may be interested in the Intercooler and BOV if you want to sell them seperately.

OK, all the piping would be useless to me, so I'll keep an eye on this thread.

That's a real similar setup that SilverFox has on his car...but it already has the tanks and pumps...;)

Man...you are so close to making that thing work correctly...you shoud keep it and put it back on...give it another go.

My eyes still burn a little too..LOL

Hmmm, anyone know how much would have to be changed to make this work on a 94-95? I mean, thats a fantastic deal, its just if its way too much work then theres no point. Any ideas?

    The smokey kind@! :p

But seriously, wasnt it in the upper 200s? And wasnt it only slightly more than what you had made N/A? I don't know if he ever got it on the dyno after he got all the problems figured out, but Im sure it would make some decent power.

Never got the kit totally up and running. had some oil return issues at the time which i just recently figured out what was wrong. Kit should make mid 400's to the wheels on 11 or so psi
