Unfortunately its nothing new. The lack of moderation (in terms of keeping things civil) is one of the problems over there. They let people just bash and beat each other like a bunch of school yard bullies with no repercussions so its no surprise that it just gets worse and worse. I used to practically live on the corral way back in the day and I RARELY go there anymore.

I do agree with the minimum post count to sell stuff there though. I hate seeing something that I'm interested in only to see the guy has just a few post. If they have a lot its easier to make a judgment call on if they are a reliable seller or not.

I think its funny that people get so bent out of shape about simple things like a question. There is no such thing as a dumb question, just dumb people. In this case, I'm going go out on a limb and say that forum fills in the latter of that statement. It took longer for them to bitch and moan and say oh look how he's a newbie on our forum (which is why John can't post pics in the classified ads, making their statements completely redundant).

People like that piss me off. I hope they have fun playing in the shallow end of the gene pool.

I have over 3000 posts and a 28+ trader feedback rating using the same username on the Corral. Just like any other place, the more people you have, the more knuckleheads there will be.
When I was swapping my engine for the first time I got good tech help there. Just bypass the BS that doesn't interest you. If it's tech you want, there's plenty there. If you want to mix it up with some people about subjects other than Mustangs, just look through the lounge and you'll find everything from politics to dating to whatever you want to bring up.
I actually think this site is kinda rigid with the rules it has. The Corral is a free for all. About the only way to get banned there is for ripping people off in the classifieds or doing something extremely stupid. That's why I like it.

I was thinking of something to do to piss them off like this also, but then id fit right in with them. ah screw it lets all go in and ask why we cant post pics in the classifieds.

That is exactly why I started this board, there was no local place to chat without being bombarded with a bunch of smart ass comments from people who sit around all day beating their dicks and getting off on being an internet tough guy. I really don't see the humor in the "abuse the new guy" mentality on some web boards. I guess most of them are *****s in their real life so they feel like something better than the half their daddys load they really are when they beat down someone who has no way to fight back on an internet forum .
