Carlisle 2009

Registration is open!! You can register online for the 2009 Carlisle All-Ford Nationals. It's $40

I will coordinate everything with them if you all want to get a SteelCityStangs tent this year. We need 25 members, AT LEAST, to register under the SteelCityStangs name. Please do not abbreviate the name. Put the words altogether, no spaces, just so we are all uniform when registering. That will help me when/if I need to talk to the event staff at Carlisle.

The heat has been brutal the past 2 years so this tent will help with that. They provide it. They set it up. Plus, it would be cool to have a hangout spot for all of us, and that way it will help us get to meet each other because usually.... it's too busy to just "run into people."

We can also pitch in and bring coolers of water, soda, beer, a small grill maybe to cook out.. have a picnic type setup there. Will save money on food there.

Anyone interested?? We need 25 minimum

It's best to register now, or soon, if you know for sure you want to go. That way you are entitled a spot on the showfield all 3 days. Post up in here when you do register so I can keep track. (I will be registering as soon as I get moved into my new apartment)

I can meet you guys on the turnpike on the way down, too

Plus.. we need to work on a block of hotel rooms for all of us who are going too. We can get cheaper rates if we stay at the same hotel as a group

I don't think I'm going to show my car, but I'd like to pitch in for the food and drinks. It's nice to have someplace to come hang out during the day

That's fine guys. You all know how hot it can get down there, and just in case it would rain.. we would have a tent either way. The sooner you register for it, the sooner you can start planning your vacation (as I like to call it).

I found a new apartment and will be moving soon. As soon as I get my expenses squared away, I will be registering.

Sometime in January, we should start looking for a hotel also.

Ray, thanks for helping out with the food, drinks, etc. That's awesome. I really only pay to go on the "showfield" because it's cheaper, plus my car is in there where I can keep an eye on it.

There are 6 of us that go every year with our cars. We stay at the ramada it's 1/2 mile off the exit.I want to go now!

we go thursday afternoon .that way we get settled,have a few sodas,and get there early friday to beat the traffic.

I'll call and see if they will save a block of rooms. YES we will need a a little beer. You can bunk with Wick if you can stand the noises he makes after he eats a large pizza and washes it down with 8 beers!
