I took a vacation to Nags Head a few weeks ago, My Dad and Mom went with me, my wife, and my oldest daughter, we loooovvve to ocean fish when we go, so i got us a hotel right on the beach and literally 20yards from the Nags head fishing pier... well they have this pier cam that you can see what its looking like year round, i look at it everyday!!! Its driving me nuts i wanna go back a throw the gotcha plug back in the water and rip out a blue... We had a great time and the weather was perfect, the water was so clear one day that i could see the bottom off the end of the pier, we caught a ton of fish, spanish makerals, blues, hound fish, whiteing, craokers, pin fish,stiking sting rays, and i had a big ol shark on for a few.... but here is a link to the piercam..

sounds like a good time. i used to fish/crab the chesapeake bay when i was younger,this is when i lived in maryland though.

on vacations though, i took my family to orlando,fl in august, we went to disney world and had a blast. we flew down with another family that we are friends with and there kids. we were down there for 7 days. i want to go back so bad now, we are planning on returning there soon for another round.

Disney Rocks, but go and stay in a Disney resort. Its the best way, no worry about transportation or anything. Also you can get the Disney Dining Plan and all food is basically taken care of. You get a snack, counter service meal and a table service meal for each day you are there. Its great, we ate at the coral reef restuarant in Epcot that has the Aquarium as a wall in the rest and if it wasn't for the disney dining plan it would have been $187.00 bill out of pocket. Also though make sure you do reservations for meals in advance if you plan on using the dining plan, trying to get into the restuarants without is kind of a pain.

Amazing both times. Of course most of mine was alcohol. haha.

rays are bitches to get off, and they fight for shit.. all they do is swim in circles.. croakers are good eatin' and i love when they croak, most likely a sand shark (nurse shark) if you were right off a pier.. prolly a little guy if i were to guess.. we have a boat in lewis deleware that we go sea fishing a few times a year and i absolutely love it. I even like the long 4+ hour trips out, and then fish all day... fish right in the bay for croaker, striper, blue fish, puffer, sand tiger etc etc, then go out around the tankers (upper - lower anchorage) and catch brown shark and some others all day... i absolutely love it and its a BLAST!
