Steelers still have a shot

Looks like the steelers still have a shot at the playoffs, and it isn't a long one.
Ways for the Steelers to be eliminated in Week 16:

-- lose to the Ravens.

-- JAX beats NE, BUF beats TEN, and CIN beats DEN. If this happens, the Steelers won't be able to catch the Bengals or the Jaguars (since the Titans won't be able to tie them).

-- OAK beats KC, JAX beats NE, BUF beats TEN, and DEN beats CIN. If this happens, the Steelers won't be able to catch the Broncos (since the Chiefs won't be able to tie them) or the Jaguars (since the Titans won't be able to tie them).

-- OAK beats KC, JAX beats NE, NYJ beats MIA, and the Titans clinch the strength of victory tiebreaker over the Steelers. If this happens, the Steelers won't be able to catch the Broncos (since the Chiefs won't be able to tie them), and either the Jaguars or the Titans (who would win a 3-way tie between PIT, TEN, NYJ based on strength of victory) will keep them out of the other playoff spot.

-- JAX beats NE, CIN beats DEN, NYJ beats MIA, and the Titans clinch the strength of victory tiebreaker over the Steelers. If this happens, the Steelers won't be able to catch the Bengals, and either the Jaguars or the Titans (who would win a 3-way tie between PIT, TEN, NYJ based on strength of victory) will keep them out of the other playoff spot.

its a long one, but it can happen. My 49ers are only a so-so team at best, but they have a decent shot at the playoffs. as for your steelers, they need a WR or 2 to stretch the feild.

Its official, Pittsburgh blows this year. I know Balt is tough, but there is something to be said about a team giving the game away. I just don't know what that something is.

I just watched a show on WQED about the country music video that Ben Roethlisburger made with the Poverty Neck Hillbillies. It was shot between July 18th and August 9th. At one point, Ben is flashing his SB ring into the camera. I laughed at first, then I got real sad.

Cincy beat themselves! Parker tried to lose it for them again though. Can't wait for the roundy-rounds to start.

Even if Cinci won, they needed Denver to lose...and it appears that they are going to. Tough break...LOL. They get the same view of the playoffs as Pittsburgh now.
