Just to clarify, the auto tranny behind the 2.3's is a A4LD. Picking one up used is an option for sure, but IF you get a rebuild be carefull. A rebuild on them that will last is going to be pricey, you must replace a lot of hard parts on them to make them last, and it's typically not what is done with the rebulders giving you a year warranty.

I sold my Turbocoupe today so I have the spare AOD from my other 88 Turbocoupe for sale. The transmisssion was rebuilt by my friend who had the 88 previously. When I parted the car out I kept the AOD for a spare. Since I sold my Turboucoupe I no longer need it so it's calling your name. Read my PM.
I still have the tranny and it's ready to go. Are you still looking for one or have you left the site?
