Egr Elimantion Question

This weekend I installed my long tube headers, they do have the fitting for the egr that comes down from the valve behind the throttle body. My old H pipe had a tube for the egr tube that runs up front to a rubber hose that t's off and goes the the smog pump which has been disconnected since i have the car, and the other way goes to the back of the heads. My new X pipe does not have this tube. If i don't use this and block off the tube to the back of the heads will it run OK?

I could weld the tube to my new X pipe and it would work but after seeing this with out all that extra rubber hose it has alot less clutter and looks much neater. THANKS GUYS!!!

you can block off the eger valve but you should get the dummy valve to trick the ecu, and be sure to not run the car with out the egr tube unhooked, it will let fresh air right into the intake and could possibly burn a valve.. i usually just taek off the tubes in the rear of the heads and smash/weld the tubes shut and bolt them back on or you could get the threaded plugs from the front of another set of heads and install them in the rear of the heads to totally eliminate the tubes all together...
