amazing what a bit of elbow grease can do

Brian (97laserred) and I killed two things we've been wanting to do today - he installed my firewall adjuster while I went to town on his Z!

After claybar, look at all those nasty swirl marks:

    After polish, way better:

    After glaze, better yet:

    After wax, hell yeah:

definitely a big time transformation, I just wish I coulda got some of the marks from the tree sap off of your paint for ya Brian

    hasta la vista, swirl monster!!

haha yes it is, I used all of griot's products on Brian's car. The stuff is so easy to use IMO. I wanna try something else though just for the sake of it soon.
The grill is going to my cousin and his soon-to-be wife, as is a griot's starter pack w/ orbital. I did his Camaro SS yesterday for him and it looked great and he had fun messing around with the orbital so I'm going to order him one

That's one thing I still need to get is the orbital. I've been using the hand polish thus far. I have just about every other Griot's product though.

I'm going to try some stuff from www.specialtymotoring.com pretty soon. I've heard a lot of good things about the products they stock, and they have good prices and Scott really knows what he's doing with paint

lol you might as well just do the new fire engine while you're at it. I didn't think about that. I tip my hat to you for that kind of patience!

We have two engines, an arial, and a squad pick-up truck. Guess who does them all? The diamond plate aluminum is the worst.
