One thing Obama is not lying about is the taxes for people/businesses making over $250K per year. He is very clear that this will happen. No disrepect to anybody on here who owns a business and makes less than this figure, but that's chump change IMO. And, what I mean by that is that probably 90-95% of so-called "small" businesses make more money than that and will be whacked with higher taxes... correction... MUCH higher taxes.
Case in point, I was speaking with one of my customers last week. His family owns an asphalt paving company. They gross about $4-5 million per year. I would never ask him his NET profit number, but any decent business nets at least 10% of their gross, so let's assume they take home $400-500K profit.
Whatever it is, it's over $250K because he was really upset about Mr. Obama's tax plan. He said, (and I quote) "I have 8 guys on my crew. Do I NEED 8 guys? NO, but it makes it easier if somebody calls off or takes a vacation day and we have an extra guy or two to run some errands. Frankly, I only NEED 6 guys to run the crew. If I have to pay more taxes, the 2 guys with the least senority are gone!!!"
SO, even if Obama cuts the "middle-class" taxes (which is BS anyway), but you get fired or laid off from your job, it doesn't matter because you won't have to pay INCOME taxes if you have no INCOME.

If Barack Obama would apply for a job with the FBI or with the Secret Service, he would be disqualified because of his past association with William Ayers, a known terrorist.

Does anyone have any personal experience where the government has improved people's well being dramatically? I've been raised to believe that if you're relying on the government to make your life that much better - you're already ****ed!
