Mach 460 + ipod

is there anyway to make my ipod work with the stock 460 head unit? or do i have to get an adapter?

The only way I know of is get one of those little cigarette lighter FM transmitter things.

There may be a way to tap into the stock head unit itself, but I have never heard of any

i dont believe there is any way to hook up an ipod to a mach 460 and have the head unit operate the ipod (if that is what you are thinking of).

it wasnt designed to recognize or use the software on the ipod.

i think the only way for you to use your ipod in your car is to get an FM transmitter as stated above.

That's what I did. I bought my Alpine with the optional iPod control feature and connection cord. I ran the cord from the back of the head unit through the center console, and out the e-brake arm hole
