I finally did it..... Barely.......but I did it....

I drove the Cobra out to the Quaker City Raceway tonight and busted out some new times:

1st. pass: 11.05 @ 127.95 w/ a 1.575 60' time

2nd. pass: 11.06 @ 126.06 w/ a 1.526 60' time

3rd. pass: 10.99 @ 126.97 w/ a 1.541 60' time

After I finally got the 10 sec. pass I called it a night and drove her back home. Combo consists of:

107,000 mile factory longblock w/ ported stock lower intake, Camshaft Innovations cam, Vortech blower. The heads are untouched, unported, no valvejob, no anything, just the correct springs to match the cam. The bottom end is as delivered from Ford back in 1994. The weather was great tonight for racing, I dont think it could possibly be any better. I have mid to low 10 second power, not I just need to get this chassis working a little better for me and get the 60's down into the mid to low 1.4's and then i'll see much better elapsed times.

I have the suspension all done up, upr, baseline suspensions, qa1, lakewood, pro3I, etc.. I still have both front seats, and full interior. Rear seat delete kit, deleted p.s., a.c., etc...

With the new engine I have sitting in my garage that will be a reality. I'm happy with 10's on this stock engine!
