    Seeing that car jacked way up in the air is scary and makes me glad I have a lift to do tranny work now. Changed about a dozen tranny's laying on the ground and always hated laying under a car jacked that high up.

    A tranny jack. HAHAHHA Man, the good ole days. Just throw that thing right up there.They only weigh around 60lbs. But as Eddie said, congrats in doing your own work.

    ok so the cars back together the clutch works great
    one question....

    someone put an adjustable cable in my car with an aluminum quadrant that doesn't have the auto adjustment on it. now the problem is i had to use all my adjustment on my cable with my new clutch. the adjustment, which is basically just a bolt double nutted on the end of the cable, that attaches to the fork is already bottomed out on adjustment. does someone make a spacer to pull slack out of the cable at the firewall??
