    Older carbed 5.0 vacuum lines?

    The vacuum line that comes off the distributor where does it attach at? I have a project car and its missing the line all together!

    Most of the time it goes to ported vacuum. On some cars it ran through thermo-vacuum switches. Ported vacuum should be fine anyway though.

    i think that's just vacuum advance, im not positive..... but i think any line will do

    it has to go to a vacuum port that is ABOVE the throttle blades, so it only get a vacuum signal when the throttle is open, this is usually on the front metering plate of a holley, the easy way to check for it is to find a port that has no vacuum at idle and has a vacuum when you hold it at part throttle...
