    any tips for cleaning glass?

my one cars side windows have like a staining on them, clear almost reminds me of like hard water spotting or something.
have tried blue glass cleaner, also a 0000 steel wool pad, still there

    any suggestions?

might want to try a clay bar kit on them. if that doesnt work you can also try some some 3m perfecit rubbing compound. have had great success with removing water spots with both these

sounds crazy, but news paper and Windex always works on those nasty spots for me...leaves it clean and streak free!

i tried the 0000 steel wool, laquer thinner and razor blades to begin with.
my suspicion is someone got some sort of paint stripper on the glass and the glass is etched now, i may end up finding someone with crappy doors to get nice glass out of.

i did try the clay bar and rubbing compound by hand today with no luck.
i may try compound with a buffer and see if that does anything.
