I am thinking about changing from a d1 procharger to twin 67 turbos on my 2007 3v 4.6. Have any of youguys done something like this? How was the outcome? Is there anything I should know, power to power, tuning?

My experience with turbo's = Underhood Heat IS A BITCH!!!
If you are going to use the car primarily as a street car I would consider smaller turbos. My 57's spool fast and I see full boost by 3200 rpms. With the 67's you will make more power up top but will probably not see full boost till about 4000 rpms. Just my opinion.

sweet ride! Tell me about it. Any pics?
Thanks, I don't think you would regret going turbo. In my opinion for a street car it is the perfect way to go. Mainly because of being able to adjust boost pressure from inside the car without changing any belts or pulleys. I know driving my car on street tune is a blast but when I put in the race gas and raise the boost I can't wipe the smile off my face. Here are a few pics.

Your car is sweet, I would love to see it in person. Thanks for the pictures. I think I will enjoy the turbo's. I cant say a bad word about my procharger, but I am looking forward to the adjustability with this system.
What size did you get?
I agree with this.. I have twin 58's, and am very happy with the spool and power output for the street...Putting down 700/700 on only 13.5psi and they have plenty of output left in them... Plus i have quite a few more cubes, so I don't see any reason to go with 67's, especially if you want it to be a street car.

Funny, we had this system on a 07 gt vert with a 3v4.6, and not only did it make 1200+HP on a mustang dyno, but we put plenty of miles on it and it was VERY streetable.
post some pics on progress. id love to ride in your car when your all done!!!!
NOBODY said it wouldn't be streetable... turbos are never going to NOT be "streetable" - they're not like a cam that may make the car so wild that it can't drive around normally... The point that siver03tt and I were making was that if you want to use the power that the turbos make ON THE STREET, large ones MAY not be your best bet... They're going to take longer to spool and you MAY need to rev to the moon to use the power....
I never meant that the big ones weren't any good.... just that smaller ones would do the trick very well (and maybe better) for a car that will see mostly street duty - but i don't know if that's your intentions or not... bigger may be better for your situation!
