Most people don't reflect upon the fact that the Democrats ruled Washington for over 40 years; it wasn't until 1994 when the so-called Gingrich Revolution changed - but only for a while. These same people do not realize that it was the Democrats who created the failed policies of the entitlement programs that are now falling apart before our eyes.
What sums up my feelings, why I am appalled by those in political power is contained within a quote by basketball legend and talk show host Charles Barkley: 'Poor people have been voting for Democrats for the last fifty years....and they are still poor.'
Now, with our elections, come yet more new promises of 'change:' 'change we can believe in,' 'hope for the future'. But if you really, I mean REALLY listen to what the new messiah is asking for, it is NOT 'change of policy' or 'change for the better' - this is a warning that he wants our change. And the change you will get will not be the change you expected or wanted.
Do not think I find the Republicans blameless in all this. They, too, suffer from the ego and greed built into our system. But in the past few months I have listened with growing horror to the railings of the left, calling for yet more giveaways, more promises of a proverbial 'free lunch.' Jerry Molen

This goes back to fundamental politics I guess...a discussion I normally don't get involved in....but I had to mention it here - how is it that a person who makes more than $250k/year should be obligated to pay more in taxes? Sure, they're well off, more so than 95%, as mentioned...but chances are that they or someone close to them worked very hard to attain that milestone in their life. How is it that they are less deserving of their hard earned money than you or I are (assuming we make less than that)? Not trying to start an argument or flame anyone...just thought it was worth mentioning.
I agree that they shouldnt be obligated to pay more because they have been successful, but I also know that our working class is struggling to pay bills buy gas etc. ( on a sidenote, my mother and father started from nothing and built up a very successful business) so with that said, when I first looked at the issues I thought I liked mccains plan, because I felt the same way that you do that you shouldn't be punished for doing well, but the issue I have with it is, the rhetoric is good, but the reality is that just because a business is making more money does not mean they will hire more or pay more. Most businesses have a fixed cost (payroll, bills, etc) per month that they plan for and anything they make over top of those fixed cost is pure profit. so although it sounds like there will be more jobs created because there is a higher demand for goods/ service most companies will make do with the number of employees they already have and only hire if they absolutely have to.This goes back to fundamental politics I guess...a discussion I normally don't get involved in....but I had to mention it here - how is it that a person who makes more than $250k/year should be obligated to pay more in taxes? I know it's somewhat of a generalization of the business world, but just my opinion on it
If a business does not grow it will definately not hire or create more jobs, however if it is allowed to grow and does'nt get taxed to the moon there is a very good chance it will create a job somewhere, either that business or another business will benefit and somewhere along the line jobs will be created.

it's the whole democrat and republican thing that ruins the election for me... why do you have to be on a side? why can't we be our own symbol of leadership without being a mascot for someone elses ideals. I think this country is so currupted that it doesn't matter who you chose. somewhere between feeling like your the answer to the nations problems, and becoming president... they all sell their soul to big names and bullsh1t.

The video doesn't say anything about why you should vote FOR Obama.

I love how she carved the "B" in her face backwards
There aren't many videos that do. For good reason. The only videos that Barry's goon squad comes up with all seem to relate to George Bush.
Here is the wonderful thought of the day, the Democrats are hoping to close on 60 seats in the senate - making them filibuster proof. The last time that happened Carter was in office & from what I understand - it wasn't good. I wasn't around so I don't know what it was like, but the programs that were created are still holding our country down today.

obama is a fag!!
Cause there is no reason to vote for him? I mean really. The guy tried to have a law passed in his state he formeryl ruled that if you said something about him that was untrue to his knowledge (or that he was willing to admitt) he would have you arrested. What happened to freedom of speech? So if the muslim becomes president (god help us all, well most of us) Then what will him and his liberal demo dipshits do? Take away our ammendments? The dipstick has 143 days of experience. WTF are people thinking? To bad the ATF stopped some smart people in a plot they had. (except the massacre of the extra's not to smart). They both suck cause they are politicians but, Least Mccain is a tried and true pure blooded "American" who knows the value of this country enough not to give in after 5 years of torture. He pledges his allegence salutes the flag and doesn't talk shit on his own country to foreign leaders. How about the fact the communist Obama hussein wants to make it mandatory for anyone after they graduate to do 2 years public service? Go clean highways for 2 years that will make you better lol. Public servants of the government lmfao. If he said 2 year military it would be a lil more understandable to put some structure in people. Though if they had that structure like I had. They WOULD NOT vote for that commie bastard.

so speaking of credibility, you're right on time LOL
in the video's info: "McCain and Palin are trying to sell you on their candidacy in the same way sub-prime mortgage companies duped their victims. The difference is that this time, its the whole country that will be in danger of foreclosure"
I'm assuming that neither you nor he can comprehend that the subprime mortgage problem is the brainchild of the democratic party, and that both Bush & McCain both voted it down.you just keep digging that hole deeper for yourself...
Scary times indeed if Obama and his close backers win.
