I did not mean to imply that you yourself were a racist so I apologize if it came off that way. I was just stating that there are some people that are and think that every single Muslim is a terrorist because of it. I will agree with you that much of the fear for Muslims does come from previous acts by extremists, but the Bush admin hasn't helped the cause by constantly saying we are in danger, yet nothing has happened in 7 years. Lastly, I realize that some are far more religious than myself, but I won't be ashamed of it and still think the Obama/Antichrist comparison is ridiculous.

I have also seen these same protests but it still doesn't mean that every single person in a Muslim country is part of that extreme, and it doesn't mean every single Muslim in the world is out to get you because your American. I won't say this often, but I agree with you that there are many Muslim extremists who hate us because of what we stand for and, as somethingclever said, for our Christianity and religious beliefs. That said, there are just as many that hate us for our lack of respect and "better than you" attitude towards those countries and the fact that we try and be world police in areas we have no business being.

you know why nothing has happened in the last 7 years? because bush made the decision to send troops to the middle east to defend our country. the reason those 'extremists' arent over here bombing us and killing us is because of the men and women who have been fighting for us the last 7 years over sea so we in america dont have to worry about it day in and day out. they are the reason we are able to sit here and go on scs and enjoy our cars everyday etc. etc. and not have to live in fear.

If we weren't at war right now killing/capturing terrorists and shutting down their operations, our country would be just as open to attack as it was before 9/11.

If you actually look at the pic that started that rumor you can see that all involved are facing the same way as Obama so there is another flag they are all looking at. Also the reasoning Obama gave for not covering his heart during the national anthem makes sense to me.
